Stone Arch Trio: Seasons

Bookended by selections from Vivaldi’s Spring and Piazzolla’s Summer, Seasons is a concert program filled with a variety of short classical pieces for piano trio. Along with standard violin-cello-piano trio repertoire, each instrument also has a “close-up” moment to shine with a solo piece. The song choices are mostly classical with some entertaining hints of classical-jazz and classical-folk crossover. Music is sourced from Italy, Australia, England, France, the U.S., and Argentina.

This one-hour concert has been unanimously well received. Performance venues have included the Parish Center for the Arts, many wonderful retirement communities, and the Bach’s Lunch series at Groton Hill Music Center.
